Job details : Automation specialist

Responsabilities

• Produce PLC programmes
• Configure human-machine interfaces and (less frequently) supervisory stations
• Configure remote monitoring systems
• Configure microcontrollers for generator sets and other systems
• Develop programmes, test them in the workshop and activate them at locations
• Write documentation for these programmes: flow charts, client communication tables, etc.
• Conduct internal training for Eneria technicians as well as clients
• For large projects, work under a project leader

Skills / Profile

• Post-secondary technical diploma in automation with three to five years’ experience, ideally in the energy industry
• Expert knowledge of Siemens S7 (and possibly S5) PLCs
• Good knowledge of human-machine interfaces: Siemens (WinCC Flex), Proface
• Familiarity with Supervision and/or PCVue would be an asset
• Good knowledge of technical English (may be sent outside France for projects)
• Able to work independently, organised, good interpersonal skills, team player, able to travel

Job details : Project Engineer/Project Leader

Responsabilities

• Assess costs and prepare tenders for projects
• Analyse items in technical specifications

Responsabilities

• Validation testing of engines for generator sets, marine, industrial or oil industry applications, in compliance with the specifications provided by the customer
• Perform visual checks of equipment (transportation damage, impermeability, electrical components defined when ordered, technical documentation, etc.)
• Check environmental conditions before testing
• Perform tests on engines (static, no-load, under load, etc.)
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and send corrective instructions
• Stop testing if persons or equipment are at risk and notify superiors
• Prepare acceptance reports once testing is completed
• Inform superiors of technical difficulties and schedule delays

Job details : Sheet metal worker – welder

Responsabilities

• Manufacture and mount metal components on generator sets, or for marine, industrial or oil industry applications, using various simple or complex welding procedures, in compliance with the specifics provided by the customer.
• Manufacture items following plans, diagrams, or instructions from a supervisor
• Produce prototypes and assemble them before launching mass production
• Execute projects in compliance with hygiene and safety rules, notify the foreman of any technical failures
• Report on project progress to group leader

Skills / Profile

• Technical training (sheet metal work or welding) with a minimum of three years’ experience in the industry (as an installer or general mechanic)
• Proficient in reading an isometric plan and/or interpreting a schematic diagram
• Experienced in welding, particularly TIG and MIG welding, and expert knowledge of butt welding and socket welding
• Experienced in manufacturing metal support and chassis parts, as well as a variety of parts in A34 and XC38 black steel and 316 stainless.
• Know how to use workshop equipment
• Be self-disciplined and, if required, perform penetrant testing and/or pressurisation
• Able to perform finishing work on manufactured parts, in compliance with safety rules for steel pickling
